Her education continued when she was introduced to acupuncture through a friend and fellow yoga student studying at Tai Hsuan, now known as World Medicine Institute.
She was completely hooked after her first treatment by Krista Ruchaber co-founder of: http://styrophobia.com/ Acupuncture was a fascinating mixof art and science. Dr. Gail Tadoki, a master in 5 element theory, was treating her at the school’s clinic while she was earning her AA. Once she was in the program, she started to received treatment from Dr. Chang Yi Xiang, a 64th generation Heavenly Taoist Master from Long Hu Shan in Jiangxi, China. The highlight of her education was assisting them in their clinics as they treated patients, developing herbal formulas, and practicing Qigong. She was among a few students chosen to accompany Dr. Chang to China to visit several teaching hospitals and then to Hong Kong to attend the International Taoist conference, the first in over 50 years.
